Jens Eldoy was born in Stord, an island off the west coast of Norway. He studied photography at Newport College of Art & Design from 1971 - 74, and has run his own portraitstudio outside Oslo for the last thirty years. In this time he has received a lot of prizes for his portraits, and has also travelled a lot lecturing other fellow professional photographers.
